How our links work.
Outdoor Gear Verdict may earn a commission when a reader buys through an affiliate link or uses a qualifying partner code. This does not add a fee to your order.
Our business model
We publish equipment reviews, comparisons, and buying guides. Direct manufacturer affiliate relationships and clearly disclosed commercial placements may help support that work. An ordinary link to a brand’s website is not automatically an affiliate link.
Codes and offers
A code is shown only when we have confirmed the offer. Eligibility, exclusions, stacking, shipping, and the final price are controlled by the merchant. Check the cart and terms before completing a purchase.
How recommendations are made
We explain who a product suits, its relevant details, and material tradeoffs. Commission does not establish a performance claim or a test result. Review evidence and specific testing claims must stand on their own.
Sponsored and supplied products
If a brand sponsors a placement or provides a product relevant to the review, that relationship should be disclosed with the affected content. No customer review counts, measured results, or scores are invented.
